FIFA 09 on the PSP allows you to unlock things like calling for a shot,
calling for a through ball, becoming a free kick taker and finally team
management. There are several other influences that can be earned over
time and it's by far the best sense of progression any of the Be A Pro
modes.
FIFA 09 is a very good addition to the franchise. The gameplay is fun,
delivering the best of the Be A Pro modes that I’ve seen. The graphics
and the movement of the players isn’t quite up to snuff with the big
boys, but for a portable offering FIFA 09 succeeds in giving players a
good footie experience.

as last year in basically every regard. Menus work and the Be A Pro
presentations is very solid. Soccer IQ 2.0 is well done.

edges are still all over the place but the player models move better
than they have in the past. Everything else is standard fare.

A Pro is great, especially for football diehards. The core soccer
action isn’t quite as good as its console counterparts, but it’s still
